This shows the progress of this painting.  These pictures were taken starting Dec. 6, 2017 and Feb. 4, 2018 (60 days, average of 2 hours/day).  Looking back, it appears I wasted a lot of time on some of the background areas.  But, that's just the way this painting went.  I would not have gotten the same results any other way.  I almost could have called it done in the fourth image, but that wasn't what I had in mind.
