The Golf Widows was started in 2001.  In this case I started by letting my kids getting some paint on the canvas.  They enjoyed it, and I could have not done it with the same freedom.  Once they got it covered, I went on from there.  Wish I had more pictures from back then.  I worked on it off and on until completion in 2006.

I don't remember this exact piece of architecture, but I believe it was the entrance to a garden in Italy.  My friend Bennie Bittle is under the center arch, I am off to the left, and my wife Donna is in the lower left.  The rock on the left, you will notice in a few paintings, which is in front of our house in Maine.  For the golfers in my area, they may recognize the golf hole as the 14th at the Neuse Golf Course in Clayton, NC.
